Miles For Smiles

Have Fun – Get Fit – Give Back!

This is the motto for Miles for Smiles, a Greater Toledo Dental Society sponsored event that brings the dental community together for a day of fun, fitness, and fundraising. Dentists, hygienists, dental assistants, staff, friends, family, and patients annually take part in the 5k run/walk and Kids Fun Run to raise funds to help provide dental services for those in need.

There were several recipients of the Miles for Smiles fundraising efforts from 2023. We assisted cancer patients in need of dental care to support their treatment, donated toothbrushes to families with children in the hospital, funded dental services for the unhoused and marginally housed in downtown Toledo, and supported a new community dental clinic in the greater Toledo area. We will continue on with our community service efforts in 2024.

Please continue to support this worthy cause and we will continue to steward the funds to an appropriate place. Thank you for your continued support!

When: Sunday, October 6, 2024 @ 9:00 am

Where: Swan Creek Metropark

Cost: $30 for adults, $15 for children (12 and under)

The Greater Toledo Dental Society does not render care and are not directly involved with the treatment of patients. The society is in existence to "promote public health and welfare, and advance the dental profession through research, education, legislation and mutual cooperation among our members." We are NOT involved in the care and treatment of patients, however we are happy to assist with referrals. Please use this search tool to find a dentist near you, or call the number on the back of your insurance card for providers in your network.

Refund and Cancellation Policy: At close of business ONE WEEK before the event, no refunds will be given for cancellations. Attendees who do not attend and have not paid, will be invoiced for the full amount after the event.
